3) Enclosed cabinets should be installed in processing workshops, casting, forging, heat treatment, boiler rooms, carpentry rooms and other places where there is a high risk of electric shock or poor operating environment.
4) Closed or explosion-proof electrical facilities must be installed in hazardous workplaces with conductive dust or flammable and explosive gases.
5) The electrical components, instruments, switches and lines of the distribution box should be neatly arranged, firmly installed, and easy to operate; the cabinet (box) should be free of dust, water and debris.
6) The bottom of the cabinet (box) installed on the floor should be 50-100 mm higher than the ground; the center height of the operating handle is generally 1.2 to 1.5 m; and there is no obstacle within 0.8 to 1.2 m in front of the cabinet (box).
7) The protection line is connected reliably.
8) There shall be no bare live exposed outside the cabinet (box); the electrical components must be installed on the outer surface of the cabinet (box) or the power distribution board, and there must be reliable screen protection.
Precautions for safe maintenance of explosion-proof distribution box:
1. The operator of the explosion-proof distribution box must wear anti-static clothing, and must not operate with empty hands or wet gloves.
2. Check whether the attachment of the installation tool is good. The protection position of some tools is damaged, which will make the installation tool a dangerous item.
3. After the explosion-proof distribution box is connected to power, some people will check whether the line of the explosion-proof distribution box is energized. At this time, you must not touch it directly with your hands or direct contact with your body. Even if the explosion-proof distribution box is tested at the factory, but It is not excluded that every place is safe. In addition, when the explosion-proof distribution box is running, it must not be disassembled. You must first disconnect the power supply, and then use the test pencil to test that there is no power, so that you can carry out disassembly and maintenance work.
4. If possible, when repairing the explosion-proof distribution box, there are many people on the scene, so even if one person has an accident, some people may have the opportunity to rescue.
